A Ouija board, or talking board, is a flat surface marked with letters, numbers, and "yes/no/goodbye" answers, used to ostensibly communicate with spirits. Patented in 1890, it was marketed as a parlor game but is often considered a spiritual tool or dangerous in occultism.
